What to expect:"Craters of the Moon is a vast ocean of lava flows with scattered islands of cinder cones and sagebrush. We invite you to explore this "weird and scenic landscape" where yesterday's volcanic events are likely to continue tomorrow."
What to expect: This once single-cell penitentiary was first built in 1870 and then grew into an impressive 15 building complex all completely built by inmate labor, from quarrying the rocks, to construction and even designing the buildings! A museum has been added to the now empty prison and tours are available.
What to expect: Tucked into Boise National Forest, Idaho City was once a booming Gold Rush city in the 1860's. But gold fever also brings violence, and death is never to far behind. The Boot Hill cemetery is now rumored to be one of the most haunted cemeteries in the U.S.!!!
What to expect:"Goth With Glitter is a sanctuary for those who want to express their individuality through their style and decor. The boutique offers a curated selection of unique fashion, accessories, and home decor items that are asdistinctive as they are beautiful. Whether you’re drawn to the darker, more mysterious side of fashion or you love a touch of glitter and sparkle, you’ll find something that speaks to you at Goth With Glitter"
What to expect: Tucked inside a 122 year old building that was once a brotel in downtown Idaho Falls, you will find "Curious Things For Curious People" at this cozy oddities store (and museum!) that has been thriving since 2002 thanks to the local community and all the curious tourists that make it a must-see destination throughout the year! But Shadow Domain's greatest asset is its extremely friendly and helpful staff and owner...be prepared to have a most interesting conversation and to learn a thing or two as soon as you step inside!!!
